As one of the world’s most sought after models, Hailey Baldwin should be no stranger to being approached with new business ventures. Recently Baldwin was announced as the new spokeswoman for The Daily Edited, an accessory label founded in Australia. The star launched a three-piece, personal collection appropriately named #theHAILEYedited. Following in the footsteps of close friends and fellow models Kendall and Kylie Jenner who have a fashion label of their own, Baldwin is continuing to showcase her abilities as a woman of many talents, stepping into the design world, much to the merriment of her solid fan base

The collaboration seemed too good an opportunity to miss, since the Australian accessory label was so representative of Baldwin’s own personal style, which promotes both simplicity and practicality. Baldwin is often seen walking the streets of the world’s most fashion-forward cities in denim and laid back styles, making her fashion choices all the more accessible.

Baldwin was directly involved in the creation process of the new collection. She proudly participated in all aspects from the initial sketches down to the final execution of the three products. The collection consists of a leather backpack, clutch bag and passport holder each personalised with Baldwin’s initials, this being a signature trait running through virtually all of The Daily Edited’s collections.

If the future sales from Baldwin’s new collection match up to her large array of Instagram followers (6.7 million to be exact), she will then stand tall amongst several of the other young, female fashion designers gracing our shopping baskets, most notably Kendall and Kylie Jenner who have recently collaborated with Pacsun for their very own clothing brand.

Baldwin’s first step into the design industry has solidified her position as this year’s entrepreneurial mogul, one who is now able to add the title “designer” to her already diverse and rewarding career. Perhaps Baldwin will be the next Jenner, proving herself as the next business-savvy woman to influence girls’ wardrobes around the world.
