Favotell is an international brand management company for fashion and art talents. Based in London and Shanghai, the company acts as a cultural bridge between two global industry capitals – this gives brands a wider platform to showcase their work. Recently, CUB had the opportunity to attend the company’s media party displaying the latest collections from Favotell represented designers.
There were several collections on display, with each touching on different styles and concepts. From the nautical, contemporary elements seen in Dubai based brand, Arshys, to the sustainable collection from Italian brand, WRAD. The brand Le Fame however, seemed to encompass the most nuanced collection.
Founded in 2013, the designer behind Le Fame combines the differing approaches of Italian and Chinese fashion to materials, colours and tailoring. One of the prominent features of the collection was the variance in textures used – ranging from satin to thicker, ribbed materials. Le Fame embraces femininity, and in doing so, creates clothing which caters to women’s physical form. With fitted and oversized tailoring and cultural references ornamenting their clothing, the diversity of this collection is extensive, whilst remaining well tied together. There is simultaneously an elegance and boisterousness which carried over throughout the collection.
