Need something to do to round off the end of June? Well, I have got two events in mind that would be just perfect. Brought to you exclusively by D&D London, both events are brunches (breakfast meets lunch) which means you can start your day off early with a bang and have plenty of time to carry on afterwards into the early hours of the morning! So without further ado, let me introduce them:
First up we have the ‘Mamma Mia Brunch’ at 100 Wardour St, a sophisticated and stylish venue located right in the heart of London’s Soho. The venue has a history of music, which was kick-started in 1964 when legendary London music venue the Marquee Club moved in, hosting musical greats such as The Rolling Stones and the Sex Pistols, so it comes as no surprise that this brunch comes with a musical twist. On Saturday the 30thof June, the venue is creating an idyllic Greek atmosphere based on the iconic musical Mamma Mia. Guests can enjoy a bespoke three course meal specially crafted for the occasion and the option of bottomless bubbles. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, guests can be wined and dined alongside watching a cast performing some of Mamma Mia’s most iconic musical moments and hits from Honey, Honey to Money, Money, Money. I know already that my food would go cold as I’d get too carried away singing all the songs, I am a sucker for a bit of ABBA! Tickets start from £20 which is reasonable considering you are receiving food and a show all rolled into one, and nothing beats live entertainment right?

But I’m not finished just yet, the second brunch on offer is a ‘Club Brunch Party with Moet’ at Avenue St James, a stunning restaurant which revolves around a spectacular central Decanting Bar and a huge illuminated chandelier. This venue literally exudes class and the finer things in life! The brunch hosted by this venue is perfect for lovers of champagne as Moet, that’s right THE Moet, are taking over to transform your brunch experience at Avenue into a fully-fledged Summer Party! Guests can expect nothing less than Magnums of Moet champagne, a Moet pyramid and special guest DJ Hedkandi’s JayLi who will be bringing her Nikki Beach vibes to St James. As well as music and fizz (lots of it!) guests can enjoy hearty and delicious dishes like lobster man n’ cheese and burgers or refreshing light dishes like healthy Asian bowls or eggs Benedict!
