Tiki-inspired Cocktails at Madison Rooftop Bar

With the cold weather we’ve been having in London over the last few months, we’ve all been wishing for a holiday or for summer to come a bit quicker. Whilst I can’t make summer come any quicker, I have got the next best thing: why not head over to Madison rooftop bar and restaurant. They have introduced their brand-new Tiki-inspired cocktail range. They bring a sophisticated Tiki twist to 6 exotic cocktails. From sweet to sour to strong, they have a cocktail that fits all tastes. Be sure to visit Madison and test out these brand-new drinks as it will make you feel like you are somewhere tropical.

My personal favourite is ‘Can You Hurry’, a tantalising drink with a tropical taste, and, not only does it taste good, but it also looks amazing! My all-time favourite drink is a Pornstar Martini, and this was definitely a strong contender. If you don’t like sweet drinks, I would recommend the ‘Walking Dead’… no not the TV show but an exquisite twist on the tradition Zombie Tiki cocktail. These cocktails are definitely instagrammable!

Not only can you enjoy the new cocktails on offer, but you can also take advantage of the delectable food. Also on your visit, make sure you take advantage of the spectacular rooftop views. You have a mesmerising view of London but also a remarkable view of St. Paul’s Cathedral, I definitely got a few photos there!

Without further ado, here are the six mouth-watering new Tiki-inspired cocktails on offer at Madison:

1. Captain Garp
Tanqueray 10 Gin blended, homemade rosemary syrup, lemon juice, grapefruit bitters, soda.
Served in a highball glass full of ice with rosemary shoot and a grapefruit twist.

2. Can You Hurry
Berries Vodka, cranberry juice, passion fruit puree, maraschino, grapefruit bitters, lemon juice, gomme syrup.
Served in a wine glass full of ice and garnish with a twist of orange and cherry eaux de vie.

3. JVD Fashioned
Makers Mark washed coconut, homemade pineapple syrup, orange bitters, cherry juice. Served in old fashioned full of ice, dusted with grated coconut and pineapple leaves.

 

4. Daikiki
Havana 7YO infused almond, lime juice, vanilla syrup. Served in a Sour Glass with a dried lime wheel.

5. Walking Dead
Zacapa blended, Amaro Di Angostura, lime juice, orange and grapefruit bitters, Lime, spiced Syrup and fresh passion fruit.
Wine glass fill crushed ice, garnished with mint, burnt cinnamon stick and passion fruit.

6. Scot-Tiegomme
Laphroaig 10yo, Scottish falernum, lemon juice, orgeat, gomme syrup, apple/ginger foam. Served in a coupette, topped with foam and grated lime.
