Enlightening the Eyes

I know, eye creams are products that come in small packages and have large prices attached to them, but you just need to find the right one for you. I am serving you with a guide on some of the best eye cream options in the market. Let’s go!

  1. Ole Henriksen: Banana Bright Eye Cream ($39.00)

I’m going to start off with a cult beauty product. Vitamin C and jojoba seed oil are the two key ingredients in this eye cream. They brighten up the eyes, correct colour pigmentation and hydrate the eyes too. This is a perfect based for reducing the appearance of dark circles prior to applying your make-up.

  1. Origins: GinZing Eye Cream (£23.00)

This is a refreshing eye cream. Seriously, it looks like you’ve drank two cups of coffee, without having to actually consume any. Think of this cream as a morning-after eye cream or the hangover eye cream, that instantly reduces your bags, puffiness and dark circles. There are two ingredients that stand out in this formula: caffeine and ginseng.

  1. Drunk Elephant: Shaba Complex Eye Serum (£50.00)

This is a highly sought after skincare product. This product contains black tea ferment and copper peptides, both of which are fabulous for tired eyes, fine lines, wrinkles and sun damage. The Shaba Complex Eye Serum can also be used as a lash and brow growth serum. Don’t you just love multi-purpose products?

  1. Lancôme: Renergie Multi Glow Eye Cream (£45.00)

The eye creams by Lancôme are simply divine. This particular one is best for those who like their eye creams thick and rich. I love the ingredients – schisandra red berry and linseed extracts – which deliver a huge amount of moisture to those under eyes and soften fine lines. Want something even better? After long usage it helps smoothen uneven skin.

  1. Tatcha: Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Eye Serum ($85.00)

Tatcha’s eye serum is great! It’s non-comedogenic, non-irritating and non-sensitising. However, there are more important elements to this eye serum, if you love a weightless formula this is the cream to pick up. It’s got Okinawa Red Algae, honeysuckle leaf and caffeine. All of these come together to firm the skin, reduce puffiness, hydrate your eyes and reduce the appearance of fine lines.

  1. Clarins: Multi-Active Eye (£35.00)

You want your fine lines smoothed? You want those dark circles and that puffiness to be reduced? You want that radiant look? Well, this eye cream is the one for you! This is a delight in small packaging. This is the perfect on-the-go soothing eye cream.

  1. Estée Lauder: Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix (£49.00)

Estée Lauder eye creams are a staple in my household and this particular formula takes the crown out of all of their products. This is super nourishing and strengthens the skin under your eyes. To get the best results, use it in the morning and evening, and use the massaging applicator to gently work it into the skin under each eye three times.

  1. Mario Badescu: Hyaluronic Eye Cream (£15.50)

Another best-selling eye cream and it’s easy to understand why. It has become the miracle tub for smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles. I love this product as it helps the skin retain its own natural moisture without being heavy or greasy.

  1. Dr Dennis Gross: Hyaluronic Marine Dew It Right Eye Gel (£59.00)

Dr Dennis Gross is bringing you dewy skin and this product will moisturise the skin under your eyes to the max. The hyaluronic acid attracts moisture and the Japanese green caviar algae provides line-filling hydration and promotes the skin’s suppleness. In this product is caffeine, Caribbean gorgonian extract and sarsaparilla root. All of these will reduce your dark circles and puffiness drastically.

  1. La Mer: The Eye Concentrate (£160.00)

Yes, I know this is worth one week’s rent, but this is worth the investment. I’m not crazy. I’m just saying that once I saved up for this product, it was absolutely worth it, and was worth the wait after saving up for four months. The most minuscule amount goes a long way and it’s the best eye cream on the market, so it has to be on this list!
