It has been a rough few months, but I have kept track of my favourite style and beauty products over the past few months. After I made it halfway through the semester while stumbling over the final hurdles of my degree, I have had some amazing products that came to my rescue. Let’s dish out the best products from February:
I once was a skeptic when it came to sleeping masks. I have loved many before this, I will love many after this one, but this one has kept me going for the past few months. This mask will rejuvenate your skin overnight. Whenever I apply this, I wake up to intensely moisturized skin that soft and radiant. I have combination skin with an extremely oily T-Zone and very dry cheeks. This has transformed my skin by buffing away dead skin cells and purifying my pores overnight.
Armani Beauty: Lip Maestro Liquid Lipstick (£31.00) – Vinny Sandhu, Style & Beauty Writer
I have never loved a red lipstick as much as I love this one here. I was feeling very European this February as you can tell. I had to match the winged eyeliner and berets with the perfect bright-red and pigmented lipstick. This is the one I recommend for those who want a radiant and sensual red pout that can hold up throughout the day.
L’Oréal Elvive: Extraordinary Hair Oil All Hair Types (£13.00) – Vinny Sandhu, Style & Beauty Writer
Before you dry your hair, you need to try this hair oil, it will transform your haircare game. I agree that it is brilliant for all hair types. It is non-greasy and leaves your hair looking shiny, soft and feeling weightless. I use this hair oil before shampooing my hair, before styling my hair and using it as a finishing touch. You can officially call me obsessed.
Gisou: Honey Infused Hair Oil Luxe (€40.00) – Vinny Sandhu, Style & Beauty Writer
This is another hair oil that changed my hair in the recent months. Technically I don’t own this, but I did almost steal my sister’s bottle, and over the months I have basically drained her bottle. A little bit of this goes a long way. Use this before you style your hair and especially when you finish it. I also recommend adding it to your hair mask or leaving it in your hair as an overnight treatment prior to washing your hair. This bottle will breathe life back into your hair.
Zara: Ankle Boot With Track Heel (£9.99) – Vinny Sandhu, Style & Beauty Writer
A classic Chelsea Boot. I am in love with these boots because specifically as I can walk in them for hours without feeling the need to collapse. These boots give you all the height you need without comprising your ability to walk long distances or dance the night away. Now, I just walk around my room in these, waiting for the days I can run around in the city with them on again.
Dior: Forever Skin Glow Foundation (£37.00) – Vinny Sandhu, Style & Beauty Writer
Bouncing between matte and dewy foundations is my forte. I jumped back to my dewy foundations in recent months and this one is a winner. It’s long-wearing and enhances the appearance of my skin without becoming too oily. This foundation has medium-to-full coverage and contains SPF. I highly recommend this foundation if your spending long days out in the city.
It’s been quite a hectic semester here at CUB. Be sure to check out March Favourites!
