There are few eyeshadow palettes that have pigment and seriously awesome colour payoff, this list is may be short, but it’s filled with the best colourful eyeshadows.

It seems there is a new palette that has been released every week. There are some days when it is filled with natural colours, then there are those days where you can find a little section of the rainbow in each pan. It’s hard to keep track of which colourful palettes to buy though, especially if you’re not someone who wears a lot of colour on a regular basis. You’re here because you want to dabble in a little bit of colour without having to shell out a lot of cash on multiple palettes. I am giving you my favourite tryouts and purchases that have great colour payoff, a range of pigments and are worth the money you’re spending. Where do I begin?

Morphe: 35B Colour Burst Artistry Eyeshadow Palette

Ah yes, the palette that started it all, it’s also the one I forced one of my best to swatch on the entirety of their arms because I needed to test out each and every colour. These colours don’t disappoint. You can be sure to find every shade you need to make a bold statement on your eyes. It’s beloved for a reason. This palette can be used to go all out or add that extra touch of glamour to a simple everyday look.

NYX: Ultimate Eyeshadow Palette (Bright)

Again, you have many shadows at your disposal with this palette, they also cover many different colours on the compact pan. The eyeshadows also come in a range of textures. You can choose to wear these as a combination or individually. They have served up all the statement colours you need to add to any look and a seriously easy to blend out.

Juvia’s Place: The Zulu Eyeshadow Palette

This palette is a little simpler compared to the previous two in terms of its range. Still, the fewer number of colours doesn’t detract from how strong the six mattes and three metallics are, in both their pigment payoff and lasting power. This is a long-lasting palette thanks to the huge pans. You can go bold, or surprisingly natural, with these colours.

Fenty Beauty: Moroccan Spice Eyeshadow Palette

I am yet another person who will boast about how versatile this palette is. It consists of neutrals and colours that comes together in a variety of finishes. You can bring together a range of looks that are both smoky and glittery using just a few colours. These shadows are also weightless, buildable and doesn’t crease so you can be sure that these are looks that will last.

Jeffree Star Cosmetics: Jawbreaker Palette

It’s hard to keep this palette off the list. The colour story is a rainbow dream. There are some really bright and iconic eyeshadows and pressed pigments. A little bit goes a long way with these pans, so be careful on being heavy-handed, and enjoy all the different formulas. This palette if all of buttery but blendable matters, shimmers and metallics.

Beauty Bay: Bright 42 Colour Palette

This palette comes in a matte version, too, but I am all for the different textures available in this palette. The colour story has been crafted for those who want any and every kind of look. These shades have intense and bright pigment payoff and seriously strong staying power. Another great thing is that this palette really is a bang for your buck. You are getting a lot for your money with this palette!

Anastasia Beverly Hills: Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Vol. 2

There are various volumes to this collection that lean towards a certain colour story. The second volume is my favourite since I have always leaned into blues. If you’re looking for colour specific palettes that are bold and have a lot of pigment payoff then this series is definitely worth checking. They are deluxe palettes with twenty-five brilliant shades.

Pat McGrath Labs: Eye Ecstasy™ Eyeshadow Palette (Subversive)

A simple colour story, but this palette goes very far in terms of its shimmer. These are hybrid cream-infused powder shadows that result in smooth and ultra-blendable pigments. You can build these up really well and create the most dazzling eyes ever. They also work great on top of softer and more natural shadows, you rarely need a brush for these, but it’s up to you!
