all bark, no bite

don’t fall If a tree falls / in the middle of the woods / and I, approximately an earful away / cannot hear its thud / the tree still stands! / if its roar / cannot be heard / it might have fallen for you? / but it did not fall for me! / if I turn the corner / to see the tree has rescinded / I will jump as I didn’t hear its growl! / for I never knew a tree / that stood tall / to collapse in on itself / and not make a sound / it has not fallen / if I did not hear /

 It still stands!
