Revenge is Just a Gay Club in Brighton

Rainbow colors…

neon lights…

pulsing beats…bodies drowning

out thoughts…

liquor is dripping

through my veins.

Sweaty limbs

pressed against

each other

Eyes across the room

a hand

an eyebrow

shaking

head

circle of friends

drop

with

the

bass

edges of memory

cling

to fog

Arms are on my waist

fingers knotted

hips meeting,

palms on thighs,

everything touching

Lips on my neck,

unhinged

rolling away…

into the evening

resting on your shoulder

I nod.

Hair pushed

from neck, back to chest

Shoulders wrapped around

legs under me

You were everywhere

floating…

shadows move between

fingers turn my head

soft pressure

on my lips

once….

twice…

again…

squeeze my waist

beard tickling neck

smile in my ear

I

melt

to

the

floor

knowing

I taste

of beer and you

are full of h e a d y

Intoxicating spearmint
